Hướng dẫn kết nối VPN WireGuard

Dùng để truy cập các hệ thống nội bộ của công ty. Làm theo 3 bước, mất khoảng 5 phút.

Lưu ý: file cấu hình .conf (hoặc mã QR) bạn nhận được là chìa khóa cá nhân. Không gửi cho người khác, không đăng lên group chung. Mỗi thiết bị dùng một file riêng, cần thêm máy thì xin file mới.

Bước 1 — Cài ứng dụng WireGuard

Tải tại https://www.wireguard.com/install/ (chỉ dùng bản chính thức).

Thiết bị	Cách cài
Windows 10 / 11	Bấm Download Windows Installer → chạy file tải về → Next đến hết.
macOS	Mở App Store → tìm WireGuard → Get.
iPhone / iPad	App Store → tìm WireGuard → cài.
Android	Google Play → tìm WireGuard (tác giả WireGuard Development Team) → cài.
Ubuntu / Linux	`sudo apt install wireguard`

Bước 2 — Nhận file cấu hình từ admin

Máy tính: admin gửi bạn một file tên dạng ten-ban.conf. Lưu file vào máy (ví dụ Desktop).
Điện thoại: admin gửi bạn một mã QR để quét.

Bước 3 — Nạp file và bật VPN

Windows

Mở WireGuard.
Bấm Import tunnel(s) from file → chọn file .conf.
Bấm Activate.
Trạng thái chuyển thành Active và dòng Latest handshake hiện "x seconds ago" là đã kết nối thành công.

Từ lần sau, WireGuard tự chạy ngầm khi mở máy. Muốn tắt VPN: bấm Deactivate.

macOS

Mở WireGuard → menu File → Import tunnel(s) from file… → chọn file .conf.
Bấm Activate. Nếu macOS hỏi cho phép thêm VPN → chọn Allow.

iPhone / Android

Mở WireGuard → bấm + → Create from QR code.
Quét mã QR admin gửi → đặt tên bất kỳ → Save.
Gạt công tắc để bật. Nếu máy hỏi cho phép thêm VPN → Allow.

Ubuntu / Linux

sudo cp ten-ban.conf /etc/wireguard/wg0.conf
sudo wg-quick up wg0      # bật
sudo wg-quick down wg0    # tắt

Lỗi thường gặp

Hiện tượng	Cách xử lý
Đã Activate nhưng không thấy dòng "Latest handshake"	Mạng hiện tại chặn VPN. Thử đổi sang mạng khác (4G / wifi khác). Vẫn không được → báo admin kiểm tra tài khoản của bạn.
Bật VPN xong mất internet	Tắt VPN, báo admin. Trong lúc chờ có thể làm việc bình thường khi VPN tắt.
Đang dùng tự nhiên rớt, bật lại không được	Tắt rồi bật lại tunnel. Vẫn không được → báo admin (có thể tài khoản bị tạm khóa hoặc file conf cũ).
Dùng cùng 1 file trên 2 máy, cả 2 cùng chập chờn	Mỗi máy phải có file riêng. Xin admin file mới cho máy thứ 2.
Windows báo "Unable to create network adapter"	Khởi động lại máy. Vẫn lỗi → gỡ WireGuard rồi cài lại bản mới nhất.

Cần hỗ trợ: liên hệ admin hệ thống.

WireGuard VPN Setup Guide

Required to access the company's internal systems. Three steps, about 5 minutes.

Important: the .conf file (or QR code) you receive is your personal key. Do not share it or post it in group chats. One file per device; ask for a new file if you need another device.

Step 1 — Install the WireGuard app

Download from https://www.wireguard.com/install/ (official builds only).

Device	How to install
Windows 10 / 11	Click Download Windows Installer → run the file → Next until finished.
macOS	Open the App Store → search WireGuard → Get.
iPhone / iPad	App Store → search WireGuard → install.
Android	Google Play → search WireGuard (by WireGuard Development Team) → install.
Ubuntu / Linux	`sudo apt install wireguard`

Step 2 — Get your config file from the admin

Computer: the admin sends you a file named like your-name.conf. Save it on your computer (e.g. Desktop).
Phone: the admin sends you a QR code to scan.

Step 3 — Import the file and turn on the VPN

Windows

Open WireGuard.
Click Import tunnel(s) from file → choose the .conf file.
Click Activate.
Status becomes Active and Latest handshake shows "x seconds ago" — you are connected.

From now on WireGuard runs in the background at startup. To turn the VPN off: click Deactivate.

macOS

Open WireGuard → menu File → Import tunnel(s) from file… → choose the .conf file.
Click Activate. If macOS asks to add a VPN configuration → Allow.

iPhone / Android

Open WireGuard → tap + → Create from QR code.
Scan the QR code from the admin → enter any name → Save.
Toggle the switch on. If asked to allow a VPN configuration → Allow.

Ubuntu / Linux

sudo cp your-name.conf /etc/wireguard/wg0.conf
sudo wg-quick up wg0      # on
sudo wg-quick down wg0    # off

Troubleshooting

Symptom	What to do
Activated but no "Latest handshake" line	Your current network blocks the VPN. Try another network (mobile data / another Wi-Fi). Still failing → ask the admin to check your account.
No internet after turning on the VPN	Turn the VPN off and report to the admin. You can keep working normally with the VPN off.
Connection drops and will not reconnect	Deactivate and activate the tunnel again. Still failing → contact the admin (your account may be paused or the config file outdated).
Same file on 2 devices, both unstable	Each device needs its own file. Ask the admin for a new file for the second device.
Windows says "Unable to create network adapter"	Restart the computer. Still failing → uninstall WireGuard and install the latest version.
